⚠️ Reminder: This is self-exploration content, not therapy.
Introspection is a neutral self-analysis designed to evolve you. Write about one of your flaws from a neutral perspective. |
A necessary moment to detox the intention of self-judgement and ask yourself in what direction your judgement is taking you. This questions ask one to neutralize the flaw, remaining honest, but detoxifying the delivery of shame.
When one studies nature, such as animals, landscapes, or natural phenomenon, this is an act of searching for and collecting information for the sake of evolving our understanding. You too are a study of nature.
Say one commits a life to studying animals. However, once they begin to observe them, their mind is filled with comments negatively judging and shaming the animals. In this case, they would certainly distort the analysis, blind themselves to positive/neutral pattern recognition, and simply forget the purpose of observing to collect information not judge it.
Judging one selves certainly has a time and a place. Sometimes we need to call ourselves out. Other time, judgement is a habit of abuse, with more intention to shame the nature instead of evolve it. I will state it, that I believe sometimes judgement raises intellect, and sometimes it significantly lowers intellect. It is important to understand which mechanisms of judgement you are using against yourself.
