What is going on with the human race?

Over a decade ago, there was a certain rabbit hole I was crafting. I committed to looking into the vortex of it without being sure if anyone would jump in with me. Did all existential questions lead to dead ends?

Within my work, I like to pry open paradoxes to human kind. Why, if we were such an intelligent species, did we so often subtly sabotage the paths to our greatest happiness or collapse the most beautiful thoughts within the darkness of our minds? Why was history repeating itself in tight circles that were suffocating the potential of our species? Why, in a species said to be hungry for preserving our survival, do millions of us self-inflict pain? Why do we bite the hand that feeds us like it is deeply programmed within our nature? If the human race is destined for true greatness, then how can we even possibly harm ourselves, inflict pain to each other, destabilize community advancement, and wreak havoc on the planet itself?

They call it existential dread because there are thousands of questions dangling over our species heads that could in fact be the death of us. What was going on with the human race? I stared into this vortex harder, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to spend my life jumping inside.

I cannot pretend to save the human race from its own nature. I cannot pretend that even this book itself doesn’t lead to a dead end. Though before I go, there is something I wanted to say. Welcome to my favorite rabbit hole. Dare I say, it is the one that saved me hundreds of times over the years. The commitment of my work is to explore at multiple layers what is going astray with human existence. This is where I begin to tell you a story about a species so great, that they were potentially destined to collapse upon themselves. A species that craved not only to preserve like their life depended on it, but simultaneously destined to crave its own destruction. I will show you this rabbit hole until you see it everywhere.

I believe there is a processing error in the architecture of physiology of the human species that we are witnessing in our current civilization. Within this book, I will present a cluster of theories that paint a distinct picture of our species. Whether you have come to this book for the explanation of something as simple as micro self-sabotage, or to answer much deeper questions about the great inversions of mankind – I welcome you and thank you for taking the time.

My work is to partially explore where survival drives become death drives. My goal is to explore inverted survival drives and closed feedback loops within the physiology that I have reasons to believe are leading to both are everyday casual behavioral glitches leading up to critical civilization wide destruction. I believe human existence is currently undergoing a death-level closed feedback gate that seems to be programmed within the structure of nature. With awareness and knowledge, I believe we can interrupt cycles. Make no mistake, I commit to this work out of defense for our population.

As the book progresses further, we will take the seemingly mundane and transform it into deep vortexes of psychological sight. Prepare to see this new sight everywhere you look. This will show up in some of the most unexpected places.

We’ll take a look at one doorway into this consciousness puzzle at a time. Some doors lead back to the beginning. Others lead nowhere. Some will lead straight to where you want. Each section isn’t just a theory, it is a different doorway or corridor in the maze of self-awareness. Dismiss the doors you don’t need and travel through the rest blindly with me.
